About Al Sahwa Schools

Al Sahwa is a private, bi-lingual school for Omani and other gulf Arab children and enjoys patronage from the Royal Palace of the Sultan of Oman. It provides an education based on the foundations of Oman’s cultural inheritance, while looking beyond immediate horizons for further enlightenment.

The school sees itself as a traditional school with an international outlook.

Al Sahwa schools help young people become well developed, mature citizens with a true belief in God, a pride in his or her country and a strong belief in the importance of education for personal development and achievement.

Students pursue a well-balanced education combining intellectual inquiry, excellence, sporting and cultural activities and a firm grounding in spiritual awareness.

The school has three sections, Kindergarten, Elementary and Secondary. The Elementary and Secondary sections are further divided into a Boys’ and Girls’ school. Within the school there is a strong sense of community.
